Life’s not as simple as it was, but depending on how we deal with our situations will ultimately decide if we will have loss or success. The confusion and chaos in this card doesn’t always have to be a bad thing, and it is up to us to decide on our perspective and how we wish to view the competitive nature. Are you learning valuable lessons from the competition? Or are you laying down in defeat? Chaos shakes up our lives, but with it can come adventure.
As I move through the cards and try to find the correct way to not only match up the lessons, the words, and the food, I am also embracing a sort of chaos with this project that is allowing me to go with the flow and open up new opportunities. With the confusion that’s shown in this card, not knowing which way the wands are going, who is hurting who, and having it take up so much space, I was called to make these amazing little appetizers that I think in their own way embody a bit of taste chaos…but work. While the major arcana cards will be saved for multiple recipes and have some extremely thought out symbolism in the food and the way they are prepared, the minor arcana will feature one solid recipe whether it’s an appetizer, meal, or dessert because these are supposed to be our support in our life journey and our small little messages to keep us on the course.
